Prince of Peace Lutheran Church Leadership


Our Pastor

​Prior to accepting the Divine Call to serve Christ and His people at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in West Salem, Pastor Peter Adelsen served as the associate pastor at First Ev. Lutheran Church in Glencoe, Minnesota. He also served as vicar at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Iowa City, Iowa.

Pastor Adelsen received his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. He later worked as a newspaper reporter and sports editor in Kokomo, Indiana. He later received his Master of Divinity from Concordia Seminary in St. Louis. He and his wife Melissa have been blessed by God to have a daughter. He has served Christ and His people at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church since August of 2022.
