Prince of Peace offers several ways to gladly serve and praise the Lord along with other members!
Committees and Organizations
Agape Groups
Every Prince of Peace member is assigned to an Agape Group under the direction of an elder. Agape Groups are encouraged to meet for community
building, service and fellowship in God's Word. Agape groups are at the heart of our congregational effort to grow stronger in our loving relationships.
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild prepares the communion ware and altar for our Worship Services. They are also in charge of banners. Guild members are on duty for a
month at a time, and the group meets two or three times a year.
Fellowship Committee
The Fellowship Committee plans and hosts fellowship meals and other fun family events.
Martha’s Hands
This is a service organization that exists to serve the various boards and committees of the church. Any member of the Congregation can participate in
Martha’s hands. Their Goal is to quietly support the life of the congregation as the need arrises.
Worship Service Volunteer Opportunites
Ushers and Greeters
Each Worship Service is staffed by two ushers and two greeters. We are always in need of volunteers for these important responsibilities!
Banner Making
This is a group for people who like to sew. A variety of banners add so much to our worship experience!
Money Counters
Members who volunteer to count our offering money are scheduled on a monthly basis. Money counting is done after the worship service each Sunday.
Please contact the church office to volunteer to be a counter.

nights from 5:30 to 7:00 during the school year.
“Lutheran Basics”
"Lutheran Basics" is our class for adults who want to investigate our basic beliefs. There is no obligation to join the church if you take the class - it's

depending on level of interest.
